About the Poet: Alfred Tennyson

Alfred Tennyson was born on 6 August 1809Somersby, United Kingdom. He was a great British poet. Alfred was also considered as the Poet Laureate of Great Britain and Ireland during much of Queen Victoria’s reign and remains one of the most popular British poets.
