Subject: Request for Better Waste Management Facilities in Our Area
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter on behalf of the residents of Green Park Colony to bring to your attention the urgent need for improved waste management facilities in our area.
For the past few months, we have been facing serious problems due to irregular garbage collection and lack of proper waste disposal systems. Garbage bins are often overflowing, and waste is left unattended on the roadside. This not only creates a foul smell but also attracts stray animals and increases the risk of diseases.
We kindly request the Municipal Corporation to take immediate steps to improve the waste management services in our locality. Regular collection of garbage, placement of additional dustbins, and awareness campaigns on proper waste disposal will help maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
We hope you will take prompt action in this matter for the betterment of our community.
Thanking you.
Yours sincerely,
Rahul Verma

Dear Aman,
Hi! I hope you’re doing great. It’s been a while since we hung out like the old days. I’m writing to talk about something that’s been bothering me lately, and I’m sure you’ve noticed it too — the worsening garbage situation in our area.
Have you seen how the dustbins are always overflowing and garbage is lying on the roads? The smell is horrible, and it’s making our neighborhood look really dirty. Stray dogs keep tearing the garbage bags, and it’s becoming unsafe and unhealthy.
I’m thinking of writing a letter to the municipal commissioner to request better waste management in our colony. Maybe we can also get others to support the idea. If more of us speak up, maybe something will finally be done about it.
Let’s meet up this weekend and talk more about it. It would be great to do something for the area where we’ve grown up together. Let me know what you think.
Take care and write back soon!
Your friend,
Rahul

Subject: Request for Additional Sports Facilities in School
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to request the addition of more sports activities and facilities in our school. While our school provides some opportunities for physical education, we feel that more variety in sports would encourage greater participation and improve students’ overall physical development.
Many students have expressed interest in sports such as table tennis, badminton, and chess, but there are currently limited or no arrangements for these games. Providing proper equipment and space for such sports would help students explore their talents and stay active.
We kindly request you to consider introducing additional sports activities and improving existing facilities. Organizing inter-class or inter-house tournaments would also motivate students to take part in a healthy and competitive spirit.
We hope that our request will be considered positively.
Thanking you.
Yours obediently,
Rohan Sharma

Dear Dad,
I hope you are doing well. I wanted to share something with you about school that I’ve been thinking about lately.
You know how much I enjoy sports, right? At school, we do have some basic games during P.T. periods, but I feel we could really benefit from more sports options. Right now, we mostly play football and a bit of cricket, but there’s no setup for indoor games like table tennis or badminton. A lot of my classmates, including me, would love to try new sports if we had the facilities.
I’m planning to write a letter to the Principal requesting additional sports activities and equipment in school. I believe more variety would keep us fit, improve teamwork, and even help us discover new talents.
Let me know what you think of the idea. Maybe you can help me make the request stronger or even talk to the school during the next parent-teacher meeting.
Take care and give my love to Mom.
Your loving son,
Rohan

Subject: Importance of a Library in Our Area for the Youth
Respected Sir/Madam,
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I wish to draw the attention of the concerned authorities and the public toward the need for a public library in our area, especially for the benefit of the youth.
In today’s world, where distractions from digital entertainment are increasing, a library can play a vital role in developing reading habits, concentration, and a love for learning among young people. Unfortunately, our locality lacks a proper library where students can study peacefully and access books beyond their school syllabus.
A well-equipped library would provide a quiet and resourceful space for students to prepare for competitive exams, improve their knowledge, and stay engaged in meaningful activities. It would also help reduce screen time and encourage a culture of reading and self-education.
I sincerely hope this issue will be taken into consideration by the local authorities so that the youth of our area can benefit from such a valuable resource.
Thanking you.
Yours sincerely,
Rohan Sharma
